1 Number Solo Dining Game

Today I was on. Before I met up with Dante, I did a few warm up approaches. As I expected, they were weak. Voice was too low. Gave up on first objection, “I’m running late!” “I have a boyfriend!”

Once we linked up I had a few more weak sets, then I started having some good interactions. Today I was able to stop a few girls from their “busy” lives to give them a smile, if nothing more. Completely different from my first three sessions where it seemed I was getting my ass handed to me left and right.

I stopped one girl in the crosswalk. We talked for a bit, and then she told me she had a boyfriend. I give up too easily on the objection. The next piece of advice Dante had for me was, when I stop her like that, I should lead her out of the way of traffic. Lead her to safety. Give her more comfort.

Once I started stopping girls, I was feeling myself. Dante described my energy as RSD Monkey energy. I was bouncing off the walls, ready to pounce at every and anything.

I did another approach. This time a cute Asian chick with purple hair. She wouldn’t stop for me, but I persisted. When she smiled, she almost blinded me with the gems on her teeth. She said she wasn’t looking for anything. I told her I’m not looking for anything either, but you never know what could happen. She tried to give me the IG, and I told her I prefer the number. Teased her a bit and bounced. I think what would have made this approach better is if I got her to stop for a few minutes.

The next approach didn’t happen because of my RSD monkey energy. Dante pointed out a girl behind us. I turned around and tripped over this old lady’s rolling suitcase. Both of us bursted out laughing. Approach over, but it was a fun moment.

There were a few approaches that were just not into me. I don’t think there’s anything I could have done about those. Situations where they saw me, and literally gave me a disgusted/not interested face. Shrug. On to the next.

After this, there was “Dirty White.” Dirty White had tattered clothes, and although she wasn’t the cutest, her energy was good and she received my energy very well. She was new to the City and very into the approach. This differs from girls that have been in NYC for a while and try to ignore any outsiders. At the end, Dante jumped in and said he was my gay friend. My eyes bulged for second, like “Dude, wtf?!” But he played me up even more, and later explained to me he did this as to not kill the set for me with his masculine energy. Maybe she would’ve been more into him. He brought in some good energy to the set that sold her on me. She has already responded to my feeler text enthusiastically. Not my type, so I’ll see what I do with it. Dante also explained that Dirty Whites are typically into black guys, hence the good reception.

Next set was a Mexicana. If you’ve been reading my blog, for better or worse, I love my Mexican ladies. This one seems to have her sh*t together a lot more than the others. Again, new to the city. Dante’s feedback here was that I number close too quickly. I need to build more comfort by having a little bit more conversation so it doesn’t feel like I’m just taking the number. I agree. Last week when I went out solo, I caught my self rattling off and asking for a date before I knew she was comfortable, ready to be asked out, or where she was in the experience. I might’ve gotten lucky this time, but I’ll let the interaction play out. She’s also responded to my feeler text already.

I did a few more approaches before meeting up with the rest of the DG crew.

I walked around for another hour. I did a few more sets, but they either had boyfriends or completely ignored me.

I went home freshened up and went out again.

I approached a really hot Asian chick. She didn’t tell me to go away, she just responded minimally. Turns out she new here from the west coast, which explains it why she didn’t completely blow me out. I would say one thing, wait for her response. Then say some more until I let her know why I was talking to her. She told me she had a boyfriend, and that I was sweet. (Maybe too nice for night game.)

Did another one. “What are you cheesin’ about?” Her date was waiting opposite us. Haha

I finally got dinner. Halfway through, the host places a cute redhead next to me at the bar. “You’re dining solo too, are you?” I asked. We ended up chatting for the rest of the night. Our conversation and connection was effortless. She was a bit quirky and sexy at the same time. Without asking I could tell she was into black guys by the way she said certain things. Daygame helped me to remain dialed in. Number close.
